Our mission
Our mission is to raise awareness of work related maternity rights amongst individuals and to protect and represent those who are experiencing, or think they may be experiencing, adverse or unfair treatment at work as a result of pregnancy or childbirth.
Who we are
BabyLaw is a niche employment law practice specialising exclusively in maternity related law to individuals. We do not provide services to employers so there is no danger of any conflict or bias.
Babylaw has been founded by Joanna Robson, a qualified and experienced Solicitor, who has valuable expertise in the areas of maternity law and employment law.
What we do
We provide advice to individuals on all aspects of maternity law. This covers a wide spectrum from increasing awareness of your maternity rights in the workplace through to providing legal representation to an individual who has suffered from discrimination and victimisation as a result of their pregnancy and/or childbirth.
How we charge
We charge an hourly rate for all work carried out prior to any proceedings being issued in the Employment Tribunal. Thereafter, we may be able to offer you a NO WIN NO FEE arrangement.
What can you expect from us
We can offer ongoig advice and support, act on your behalf in discussions with your employer and represent you at the Employment Tribunal. We are here to help you through every step of the way and we are committed and focused to obtaining the best possible outcome
